I Love New York
It’s been three months since my family and I moved down to Miami. Two weeks ago, I took a short trip back to NYC to enter a competition (Kings of New York). Yup, if you don’t know, I’m a BBoy. Been with my crew since 2005, and according to my mom, I’ve been dancing since I as 8 years old! I also had the great pleasure of capturing my cousins engagement session. I’ll share those later this month.
This trip was very special. It has been 8 year since the last KONY and it felt so good to enter a jam with my crew and see many familiar faces.
With this trip, I had an opportunity to see my family and some friends and of course to walk around and eat some great food. Went to Robertas Pizza as soon as I landed! Got some Ramen and finally, did a dessert crawl for my wife to bring back home. I miss New York, I miss the heart felt community and the energy of the city. But I have to be honest, I don’t miss the cold weather.
